TVET PROGRAM ACCREDITATION AUDIT VISIT BASED ON THE CODE OF PRACTICE FOR TVET PROGRAM ACCREDITATION (COPTPA) 2026
MIRI, 03 MARCH 2026 (Tuesday) – Riam Institute of Technology (Riamtec) successfully hosted the Accreditation Audit Visit for our Skills Training Programs based on the Code of Practice for TVET Program Accreditation (COPTPA).

The evaluation was conducted by an expert panel from the Department of Skills Development (JPK) alongside industry specialists from various sectors.
The visit aimed to verify program accreditation and ensure our facilities and training standards meet the highest national requirements. The following departments were involved in this comprehensive audit:
- Automotive Electrical
- Electrical Installation & Maintenance
- Patisserie
- Culinary Arts
- Aesthetic Beauty Therapy
The accreditation process involved a thorough review of academic documentation and a physical inspection of our workshops, labs, and kitchens to ensure all facilities and equipment are of the highest standard to support our student capacity.
Congratulations to all departments for successfully meeting the accreditation standards and achieving outstanding marks! This success is a testament to Riamtec’s unwavering commitment to maintaining world-class TVET quality.
The insights and recommendations provided by the panel will serve as a roadmap to further enhance our Teaching and Learning (PdP) quality. This is in line with the National TVET Policy 2030, focusing on human capital development and the readiness of a highly skilled workforce to drive a sustainable and inclusive economy.
