Miri, 14 October 2025 — The Riam Institute of Technology (RIAMTEC) recently hosted an accreditation verification visit by the Panel Penentusahan Pentauliahan Program Latihan Kemahiran Sistem Latihan Pusat Bertauliah (SLaPB) from the Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK) Sarawak Region.

The visit focused on the Aesthetic Services Programme [NOSS Code: S960-002-3:2020], which is currently undergoing the accreditation process under the Malaysian Skills Certification system.

The session was chaired by Mr. Wan Jiman bin Wan Drahman, Officer from JPK Sarawak, while Ms. Shalina binti Abdullah served as the Verification Panel Assessor.

During the visit, the panel evaluated various aspects of the programme, including the quality of training delivery, facilities, curriculum implementation, and compliance with JPK’s accreditation standards.

According to JPK, the exercise forms part of its ongoing quality assurance efforts to ensure accredited centres maintain excellence in skills training and align with national competency benchmarks.

RIAMTEC expressed its appreciation for the visit, noting that such verifications strengthen the institute’s commitment to producing competent and industry-ready graduates in the field of aesthetics and beyond.
