2026 Fee structure

Types of Financial Assistance Available

At RIAM Institute of Technology (RIAMTEC), we believe that financial limitations should not be a barrier to quality education. Our Financial Aid and Bursary schemes are designed to support students from various backgrounds in pursuing their TVET education with confidence and peace of mind.

RIAMTEC offersneed-based bursaries to assist students who face financial challenges.
Eligible students may receive partial tuition support based on:

  • Household income
  • Academic performance
  • Special circumstances (e.g., single-parent household, disability)

How to Apply:

  • Submit the bursary application form (available at the Finance & Administration Office)
  • Attach supporting documents (e.g., income statements, academic results)

Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

  • Explain available financial support
  • Help with application forms
  • Offer guidance on budgeting and payment planning

Government Loan

At RIAM Institute of Technology (RIAMTEC), we believe that financial limitations should not be a barrier to quality education. Our Financial Aid and Bursary schemes are designed to support students from various backgrounds in pursuing their TVET education with confidence and peace of mind.

What You Need to Know
  1. For Skills Students: This loan is for Malaysians who want to take Skills Training and Vocational Courses.

  2. Covers Your Costs: It pays for your SKM (Skills Certificate) and DKM (Skills Diploma) fees. It also provides a monthly allowance for your living expenses.

  3. Build Your Future: The goal is to help all Malaysians gain hands-on technical skills to get better jobs.

  4. Government Approval: This is a Government Loan given out level-by-level (Level 2 to 4).
    Please note that PTPK has the final say on who gets approved based on their latest rules.
